How do i get animated avatars? - General

I tried to upload an animated avatar but it said animated pictures are not allowed, someone care to tell me how to get permission to upload them as my avatar

You need to be a gold member to be able to ue .gif avatars. >2000 post count and 2+ year membership will get you gold member.
