So I just want to know if this is ok and he's not getting ripped off, I know that he's pretty fond of Nvidia and would prefer to have an Nvidia GPU. He is going to use it for browsing and gaming. He would also like to play crysis on very high at a decent FPS.
So what do you think?

You should select a PSU with more juice for a powerful rig like this, namely a quality unit of 650W+. Otherwise you run the risk of not only having a horribly inefficient PSU, but also system instability. Guru3d recommend at least a 600W powersupply with a total of 55 Amps on the +12V rails for crossfire 5770s on a high end rig. By comparison the ModXstream 36 Amps combined.
