Haven't done a new full build in years, so I thought I'd give you the run down on a part list I'm currently looking at. I haven't decided on a GPU yet, I've been waiting around for the next batch of Nvidia cards although at this rate I'll probably be going with ATI (open to recommendations (1920x1200). Feel free to comment on any choices, this is a rendering/gaming/media etc rig. In my opinion, I'd go for this mother board: ASUS P6T iX58 Socket 1366 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard Reason being it's practically the same as the deluxe without a tiny amount of features which maybe never used. Also I like the positions of the PCI-E, as it lets you use the bottom extra PCI-E slot for an upgrade, whether it be for any additional card (GPU or not GPU). it also will save you £25
his is a rendering/gaming/media etc rig.
consider how much you do rendering, if it's not high level professional worth the benefits from an i7 probably aern't worth it when it's money you could put to making the rest of the build in general better. excellent find on the case/psu combo though
Any recommendations on a GPU?
