coh is a great rts. But i feel if you don't own the game already, and you're already a fan of the genre you weren't going to get it in the first place.
This however demonstrates how the PCGamer's revenue stream seems to be dwindling to the point where their free game giveway is $1 10year old release.
First line of the article: "Company of Heroes is ten years old this year."
Second line, implied: "That means it's worth jack shit. But we're giving you free copies cuz we're so nice."

Why is everyone here crying about PCGamer giving away a free key for an old game? It's not ONE key; if you read the article, it says they've got 30k keys to give out (probably given to them by the publisher in the first place).
Yeah, I get that they write a couple of shit articles now and then but the dumb hate bandwagon is uncalled for (it's childish too, if you don't like an article - just ignore it instead of shitposting about how much PCGamer shitposts).
