So far its been fine. It started out shitty but then I started giving 110% and my teachers gave me SOME respect...If it can even be called that, But everyone use this thread to let out all of your shitty school days...Or amazing ones.
I have only been to school for 2 days, it is going great so far.[sp]Because what can go wrong when you have to do nothing?[/sp]
I enjoy all my classes except World Geography, it's basically been all maps and memorizing countries so far.
They change every fucking day my schedule so I have no idea when I'm beginning the school day or when I'm ending and I have no idea WHAT FUCKING LESSON I SHOULD HAVE! So it sucks bad
Starting A-Levels has been pretty stressful, it's not that the work is that much harder, it's the fact I'm doing 4 subjects and still managed to get 14 pieces of "private study" (bullshit name for homework) in one week.
I came into school with in a tuxedo and a top hat. I had jazz music coming from my headphones. Everytime I saw a teacher or sudent, they would grin and nod. Everytime I entered class, I would say, "Gentlemen?". Just an average day, y'know.
I've had way more assignments than I anticipated at the beginning of my last year
WE ARE ALIKE.
Make that Tri-like. -.- ive had a shit ton of work.
I feel like I was smoking a bit too much weed when the year started, but now I'm all set to go and learn some shit again!
boring
Does fucking awesome count? Needles, Gloves, Cervix Brace, Back boards, pictures of bad accidents, jokes, jokes, jokes, jokes, little HW, study hall last hour of the day.
Mine was ridiculously stressful until I dropped one of my 4 online classes (because school has pretty much no on-site electives). Now I actually have time to get my work done.
first week 4 assignments and picking my uni's also writing my personal statement ive been working all day every day hopefully it cools off a bit.
bleh first year of doing IB, it's hard
Pretty good. All we do in Art is draw. All we do is Video Tech is talk about movies. All we do in History is talk about, well, history. All we do in English is talk about good books. All we do is Algebra is screw around on calculators. All we do in Health is watch The Biggest Loser. All we do in Chemistry is mess with chemicals (though yesterday we watched Indiana Jones). All we do in Spanish is make up silly stories and act them out, in Spanish.

I'm really enjoying University so far much more than High School but I have a lot more assignments. Surprisingly, my artsy classes are the ones that keep me working all the time and I found it less time consuming to write two essays than when I have to do my Intro to computer graphics, Design principles, and Drawing 1 homework.
I did great at the beginning of school but now I'm slipping. It's really frustrating.
I'm doing great in school so far. Been in it for 6 or so weeks, there has been a fuckton of notes and tests already. But I got my first 100 on a math test ever today, I'm normally horrible at math, but I'm starting to take school seriously.
I try my best to avoid eye contact. P.S., I am a freshman.
I wish I could force myself to take school more seriously, my feelings about how utterly pointless the homework is get in the way and I find myself doing anything other than it. I take it seriously when I'm there but forget once I'm home, and if I didn't have study hall/lunch I would most likely fail. As it is I go down from an A to a B just because of the fucking homework. P.S., I am a freshman.
So am I, it helps that I have some sophomore/junior/senior friends to sit with at lunch so I don't feel totally inferior. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] Also I have several female friends now, woo high school
my schedule is pretty much 1 period of fun and 3 periods of boring french is awesome though
26.4lbs of textbooks, fuck AP ;_;
AP Biology books are better weapons than billy clubs.
Pretty good, just really boring so far.
Very good actually. I'm still trying to figure out how I managed to remember most of the math I took the past 3 years. Usually I'm terrible at math, and suddenly I'm picking stuff up much better than the previous years.
Got a new common room, it has a kettle. Now we have pot noodles for lunch.
Awesome.
University is alright so far. Mondays and Tuesdays are going to be horrible in the first trimester though. 4 hours solid unbroken lectures on Monday mornings. All day doing effectively business studies on Tuesday. Apparently knowing how to effectively run a business is a vital part of Computing. Fuck off. Wednesdays is web design and then programming though, which is perfectly not mind-numbing. I can see it turning into a constant stream of lengthly work in the coming months though. And I get Thursdays off, which during this short time I haven't got much to do in my own time, is pretty sweet.
Are dicks a unit of measurement? If so, 200 dicks an hour.
