That's selling the Developer Pack short. The shooting range is handy for trying out weapon customisations which might have been too risky, prohibitively expensive or just outside a player's comfort zone. The arena makes for some interesting matchups thanks to human NPCs potentially having any weapon in the game, and the Spider Maze is a pretty good self contained story from the Metro. I enjoyed playing it too, finding light sources to clear entire rooms and throwing firebombs non-stop to hold off spider hordes while scrambling to find an intact gas mask. The trouble with Last Light's DLC is that so many bits of it are dreck. The price the season pass is at now is perfect for all those missions that are worth playing, like Kshatriya, Pavel, Khan and the Developer Pack.

Chronicles had a shit level in Anna, an interesting level in Pavel and a nostalgic level in Khan, with the addition of previous Metro encounters like anomalies. This sort of happens with all the DLC. The only one I don't really like is Tower. It started so promisingly, with the VR weapon and level selection, but then after you select one you just end up in a clean Metro-esque area. Pretty dull horde mode stuff. I do think they were worth the price of the Season Pass at the time they were slowly being released though, but now they're all out, I'd still recommend them but as a sale if you can.
The Developer Pack and Faction are great, the Faction Pack playing as Hans was so badass, especially with the music and the other where you have to go out and find things from the surface like books and shit, coming back periodically to upgrade your weapons and buy more filters and shit, maybe even get some armour, it's pretty fun.
