• Need to overclock a GPU

The one in question is an XFX Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT, currently clocked at factory frequencies. The card is not pre-overclocked, so I should be able to pull it off... I assume the current clock settings are what's under "Custom", and all grayed out... Core Clock: 550mhz Memory clock: 400Mhz Shader clock: 1350 So... Yeah! That should be everything you need to know, or want to know... Thanks.
You could use EVGA Precision. (works with most cards, even ones that aren't EVGA)
So... Do you know what the safest, yet fastest I could overclock it would be? That's really what I need to know...
rivatuner [editline]11:52PM[/editline] if you've got decent cooling you could probably pull a good 750/900 on core/memory

Use AVi Tool to detect any errors. Once you hit an artifact on the 3d test back down to the last clock you were set at that doesn't artifact.

I would go up about 10-20 MHz at a time.
MSI Afterburner is the best one imo. [editline]07:39PM[/editline] [QUOTE=woolio1;24696149]So... Do you know what the safest, yet fastest I could overclock it would be? That's really what I need to know...[/QUOTE] Every card would give a different result, you'll have to experiment it yourself
