Outside it's fine, but once I get into a tiny room or whatever it freezes and I have to ctrl-alt-delete to close the bastard. Anyone know a fix?

OP it seems to be a problem with quad cores, I'm having the same problem and so are people on the Bethesda forums

into your fallout.ini fixes the problem, I'm about to test that now.
