getting new video card (help me)

so at the moment I have a Radeon HD 2400 Pro and yes... that sucks... from what I looked into my computer is beast besides the fan (which makes SO much noise but keeps it really cool) and its quad core (heard thats pretty good)

I need a graphics card (whatever makes my PC screen look nicer) lol im a noob at this

give me something better than 40 fps on Team fortress 2 High settings

please help me. im sick of using low textures to get above 40 fps

I used to have a HD2400 too. It sucked. I got a new PC with a 4870. You should get that card, it's fucking awesome.

I can back that up. I just got mine about an hour ago and it blows my 8800GT out of the water. Fucking amazing. Right now it's sold out though, probably because it's so awesome :D

My case size is 7 in wide by 17 in long and 13 in tall

and yes im pretty sure i got the blue things on the motherboard (from looking through the vents)
from where my current card is it looks like i got 5 inches until it gets close to the case.

also anyone know of some really good highpowered fans that are quiet? some computers at my school are uber quiet and there are 20 in the same small room. dont hear anything (maybe ill check the system properties while in school)
