[del]!!NOW STREAMING!! http://www.justin.tv/paulthesimon[/del] Steam over, he died during night #2. :c So, this little mouse just appeared out of nowhere today. It walked past the couch i was sitting in, then it froze. Obviously it noticed that "Oh shit a giant creature is looking at me". It then proceeded to run behind the nearest piece of furniture to hide, a large wooden cupboard/cabinet. I sealed off one side, and made my brother make a ruckus there to scare it towards my end. Then after some attempts, we actually managed to catch it. Pretty exciting. I live far North in Norway, so I don't see critters like these very often. Anyhow, here's some pictures: Here's where i first found it. It had ran into a dead end. I caught it in this thing, and as of now it's its new temporary home: Eventually made it a little paper house and fed it some bread: The house will need some improvement though. It's a bit too light, so the sporradic movements of the mouse sends it flying. Also it enjoys climbing: I'm going to release it eventually, but I figured I might pretend it's my pet for the day. What should I call it? What should I do with it? Not entirely sure how to provide it with water. I'll figure it out. Might have to improvise a new cage. [editline]o[/editline] Current improvised cage interior. Details can be found at page 5. Send it to space
Put in a bottle cap filled with water, and put in a cardboard tube to hide in or something - I don't know really, I've only had gerbils.:v:

You might also want to make bedding for it, hay/ripped toilet paper/something similar on a bowl or in a small pen, that is if you plan to keep it there overnight. Also I think Johnson would be a fantastic name.

You might want to make sure its not sick if you plan on keeping it
Build a better paper house, and give it a spoon to drink water from(like, use the spoon as a water bowl or something).
Send it to space
Give it tiny bits of armor to wear.
Find an old plastic box or something, line it with newspaper and tissue and then throw down some cardboard tubes, a saucer for some water and a bit of wood for it to nibble on. Name it Basil.
Send it to space
you already said that?
you already said that?
Yeah but OP ignored me
Wash it?
You might want to make sure its not sick if you plan on keeping it
I do not plan on keeping it for more than maybe a day or two. [editline]24th July 2014[/editline] It likes the new little house. I'll see if i can get hold of a bigger plastic box and convert it into a cage. [editline]24th July 2014[/editline]
Yeah but OP ignored me
Jeez you even PMed me. What do you want me to respond with? :v:
The correct name to use would be Jerry

Give it a cape and put the FP logo on it.
Is the mouse still intimidated by you? Does it allow you to pet it etc?
Is the mouse still intimidated by you? Does it allow you to pet it etc?
The current caging doesn't allow me to pet it. It doesn't seem intimidated by me, and it will eat and drink even when i obseve it from a close distance. Anyhow, here's the new and improved WIP cage: I'll be adding more of the things suggested in this thread. Stay put.
As a reward for its good behavior and lack of shyness, give it some gourmet cheese, or some roasted nuts or something.
Put a bunch of turtles in there and see if they become ninjas.
Well we've already seen someone convert a bug to Communism. hrmm. Convert it to Capitalism!
Name it Taco!
I'm most likely wrong, but the tail and head shape makes it look more like a babby rat to me.
tie some balloons to it and send it into space
Isn't the tail way too long for it to be a mouse?
I'm most likely wrong, but the tail and head shape makes it look more like a babby rat to me.
I am not sure what species it is, but I'll be posting more pictures. Maybe some rodent experts will drop by and inform us.
Isn't the tail way too long for it to be a mouse?
Yeah, I'm thinking baby/adolescent rat.
Make a tiny paper viking hat for the mouse.
