You have to admit, the guy got really lucky. I remember listening to some of his stuff before Minecraft, and he was talented, but he never really had the popularity it deserved. He still doesn't, but he didn't then either.
Club 418 is a gay bar near my area always makes me giggle when i see it in minecraft
He makes some nice edm too:
Minecraft Volume Alpha and Volume Beta are some of the best relaxing music albums I have in my library. Partially because they remind me of the wonderful early Minecraft days where everything was still a mystery.
I really think this is one of the best things I've heard in a while.

although i dont like the game anymore, minecraft still has some of my favourite tracks from any game: brings back a lot of memories from the alpha and beta love most of the music that C418 makes
I haven't played Minecraft for a long while but the music for the game was really nice, soothing, and fitting for the atmosphere of the game.
C418 remains one of my favourite music people. His music is really nice.
his music is good and he's p cute.
Even with all the crap people say about minecraft nowadays, I'll still cherish the simple and great fun that was exploring its randomly created worlds with friends, back when everything was new.
Again with the fucking Gaynor shit, not Gaynor, or Steve, or Steve Gaynor, it has to be Gone Home's Steve Gaynor creator of the acclaimed Gone Home game
If you haven't already I recommend buying his ONE album. It was the music for the documentary but it's so damn good.
He's a cool guy, y friend bought a physical copy of one of his albums, and you could request to get it signed. So he asked C418 to draw a picture of a cat (hold a rainbow I think) on the disc, he delivered.
Why does it say alpha soundtrack? Did they change the music for the release?
Sweden's the best track on Alpha by far.
