I've been having this issue for a few weeks now and I've yet to find a solution.
Currently I'm running Windows 7 x64 and using a Microsoft Wireless keyboard 3000 v2.0.
Just recently a few off my programs have started acting strange.
In Google Chrome, after opening a clean window, I can't click and drag to select the URL if I've pushed any key on my keyboard already.
In Photoshop CS5, after opening a clean window, I can't click and drag to draw lines with with paintbrush tool, also, I can't hold left mouse to select different tool options.
In most steam games I cannot Shit+Tab to open the Steam Overlay.
In Minecraft my view sensitivity is extremely sensitive, only after pushing a button on my keyboard.
In Microsoft Word 2007, after opening a clean window, I can't click and drag to select any text.
It seems as though after pushing a key on my keyboard it locks in an active state making it seem like i'm holding down a modifier key. I think.
Any help would be appreciated, if you need extra info then just post.
This my be retarded to ask but have you checked your batteries?
