• Micro-SIM stuck in phone

Sorry if this is the wrong place for posting, it seemed the most relevant. I have an LG Optimus 2x, and a relative put a Micro-SIM in the SIM slot along the width. My phone uses the regular SIM. He pushed it all the way in, past the connectors. Now I can't pull it out anymore. The Micro-SIM is occupying the entire width of the slot. I've tried using something like a paperclip along the side, but there's no space for it. I've tried pushing something underneath, but I got nothing that fits under it. Anyone any ideas?
try tweezers?
It's too far for tweezers. The SIM got pushed all the way in the back. Don't think I have any tweezers small enough to fit through the slot
ok, well you could always try cutting up a small plastic piece the same size as the card and try wedgeing it underneath the car which should loosen it up to allow you to pull it out.
Try heating up or applying glue to a pin and adhering it to the card.
Digging around in a sim slot can damage the pins that are used to read the sim, once those are damaged or destroyed your going to have to get another phone or find someone to fix it. I work at a phone repair shop and see this from time to time. Sounds like you might want to find a repair shop in your area that wont charge you an arm and a leg to disassemble your phone and get the sim out or one that wont completely fuck your phone in the process.
