Money is really tight, and I had always been interested in becoming a DJ, since someone in my family has been doing it for years now.
I'm looking for a nice, cheap set-up, for around $200-$250.
The music I'm looking to play is mainly old-school and underground hip-hop, so something that would help me out with that. I've been told that I should look for a "scratch mixer".
I want to play vinyl, so turntables are a must.
A while back I got a CD mixer, but I'm not sure if it is compatible (or should be used with) vinyl turntables.
So what should I get?
This is pretty much the definitive starter dj pack

Well if you already have turntables then here are a couple of good starter mixers-
