I just got a new junky desktop mic from Best Buy to talk in CSS I get home plug it into the mic jack and I can't manage to make it work in game. I know about the making sure it's not muted stuff in the properties and it seems to work in the mic test in CSS. But when I'm in game and try to talk nothin. I know I'm not forgetting to push my talk button before I say something so whats the problem? If anybody knows please post and help me out.
When you press the push to talk button, do you see a mic icon at the bottom?
(Just wondering if its not the mic, which I don't think it is).
Maybe try binding it to another key.
BTW: If you don't know, you can't hear yourself talking when you talk online.
Which you probably already know.

yea I know you can't hear yourself talk and no I don't see the talking symbol when I press the button I currently have it binded to shift
