Hi, I've recently learned about Google voice and it is partially available in Canada, but only through outbound calls and not incoming calls. Since it blocks us from setting up anything Google voice related with a Canadian IP, I'm wondering if anyone in the USA could set up a new Gmail account for me along with going through the basic process of setting up a Google voice account and verifying it with an American phone line.
I don't expect anyone to do it, but I would really appreciate it if someone could.
On the off-chance anyone would do this, just PM me to communicate account info.
I will try to help out with account set-up, however I can only follow the steps up to a point on my end as I can't proceed to do any of the steps.
What area code do you want the number in? What number do you want (any phrases or patterns?)
American area code? I don't care what phone number I get either. Anything will work.
I made a Google Voice US account through a proxy and I got a landline number for free from some random landline.
But I can't remember how you did it exactly.
Area code 403 works with Google voice. You can get an online phone forwarding service if you need such area code.
Anyone do this yet, or do you still want me to do it?
I haven't received a message from anyone yet, so yeah I'd like it if you could do it (if you are up to it, that is)
