GTX 275 vs HD 5770 - Hardware & Software

My friend is abit of a Nvida fan-boy first of all, this thread is for him because he needs to be convinced to go ATI. Good god that 5770 is waaay too expensive. Never purchase an overclocked card. 5770 should be about $175 tops. Go with the 270 if you're strict on price. If not there's always the 5850.

I only found one 4890 that was cheaper then gtx 275. Could he get a second gts 250, is it worth it?

two 5770s or whatever from Newegg are 400 bucks? hah, I went to microcenter and bought two GTX 275s for 400 bucks there. Sad it's not everywhere.. what a deal.. go for the 5750/5770 cross fire
