So i just got braces about 4 days ago and i realized.. wrestling season's going to start in about a month so i gotta start getting ready. One of the thing's I'm worried about is a mouth guard. Because wrestling with just plain braces is excruciating. I need tips on which to buy.. there's so many and it's so confusing.

This site was recommended to me by my orthodontist so i checked it out and it has so many mouth guards that it gets waaaaaaaay too confusing..
Which should i buy? I'm looking for one that would last for about 3-4 maybe even 5 months as i would go to off season freestyle tourneys. So anyone here an expert on mouth guards?
I need 1 mouth guard that covers the bottom and upper jaw at the same time or 2 mouth guards that cover both at once. I prefer the 1 mouth guard though.
Also are the braces mouth guards much different from the regular mouth guards?
And what does strapless and with strap mean??
I'm assuming braces mouth guards have space, and don't push the brackets or wire around. I would strongly suggest talking to your orthodontist if wrestling is even a good idea regardless of what kind of guard you have.

I asked him on the spot. He said it would be fine only if you get a really good mouthguard. I have a friend on the team that also has had braces his whole 3 years of wrestling and he says it's fine just get a good mouthguard
