Nvidia 260+ drivers don't work, seems like no one else has this problem.

I own a 9800gt card, my current drivers are 257.21
258 drivers broke minecraft, so i had to do a rollback. I would like to install the latest 260 drivers, however about 1/4th of the way on the installation progress bar, it complains that the installation failed.

I feel isolated having old drivers, what can i do?

I have a 9800gt with 260.99. Have you tried re-downloading and it still didn't work? other than that I don't know what to tell you.

Remove all traces of all video drivers and try the installation again.
