So I am in need of a new gaming computer.
So without further ado, here's a list of everything (atleast I hope so) that you need to know:
- I live in Copenhagen, Denmark
- Budget is 1000$ or 5,256.67 DKK
- It's a gaming computer, so I don't need 24GB RAM. 4/6/8 will do. As long as I can play Battlefield 3 I'll be happy.
- I have a monitor, mouse, keyboard, Windows 7, drives and a harddisk that I can reuse. Oh, and I also have an Antec Sonata case that I can reuse link.
- Old specs (please check if the HDD is worth throwing out for a faster): HERE
- I might be able to go a little bit over the budget if it's worth it. Emphasize on little.
- I don't know how to overclock, so perhaps it would be smart if I didn't have to do that.
Sites you might like to use (I hope you guys can navigate around them):

That's about every site I know that sells cheap hardware to Denmark.
If there's anything else you want to know, feel free to ask for it.
Anyone?

5111 DKK
You could remove the case and get a better graphics card, but I'd personally not build a brand new computer in the case you've got standing.

Your harddrive is good.

If you're willing to pay 5527 DKK, get a Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750 V2, then you'll be able to SLi in the future, preferably at christmas, two 560 Ti's will run Battlefield 3 at max settings.
That looks like a solid build, however before I buy it I would like t know if anyone else can come up with a better one.
Also is the case necessary?
Nope it isn't, feel free to remove it, it's just always nice to have a new case along with your new components.
Wouldn't it be smarter to remove the case and upgrade to a Geforce 570, instead?
Gtx 560ti performs better than the 570 on several benchmarks. There isn't too much of a difference...and the 570 is like $60 more, so it's not worth it.
Thanks for the input. Would it be smart to toss the tower and upgrade something, or should I just go with the build that Fisker posted?
The thing about the case was just my personal preference, if you can live with the old Antec case, then you should keep it.
The Antec case might have bad airflow, I don't know but I just seems like it is a case used for family computers that don't generate much heat, and it might be tedious to build in.
If you'd like to know more about the Fractal case you should check out this review. This is the white version, but it is the same case.

I'm going to go with your build Fisker, however I'm going to drop the tower. I see no reason to buy it when I have a perfectly fine one.
Thanks, mate!
