Recently, a friend of mine has started building his PC from components he has been receiving from friends. We had most of the components to start up, so I was going to install his OS for him. Booted and no video. Switched DVI slots, nothing. I try another PCI slot, no luck. I decided to take it home and try it in my machine. Works fine. The motherboard is showing FF for fully functioning, but still no video. Checked the PSU with my tester, and all levels are fine. The only thing I'm worried about is the power draw from the graphics card. However, he has a 650W, which should be sufficient. The case motherboard speaker does not work, so I can't hear beeps. Going to order a new one. Any ideas?
EVGA nFORCE 780i
nVIDIA 8800GTS
650W power supply
I'm stuck.
Check the ram, If you can try other sticks or if there is multiple sticks, try them one at a time.

I didn't have any on hand, I'll have to check the specs and see if I can grab a spare stick to try out. I totally overlooked RAM in the issue. They seem relatively new. Will test tomorrow and report back.

It should still POST if the RAM's not working. Check the CPU.
