• My laptop screen is shaking

I've got an Acer Aspire 6930, and my screen just starts to shake randomly. It's not constantly though, but it does shake from time to time. Since the problem occured, I've noticed my battery status says: Consider to replace battery. That might be the problem but with my experience I know that the screen starts shaking when a cable is damaged connected to the monitor, so it's not I something I can determine right now. Anyone knows? Also, the Acer support guy said it might be the battery, because I always have it on me while I am in bed for the past 2 years.
Sounds like you need a more sturdy table. ...But in all seriousness, I would replace the battery before worrying too much
How old is it? does it happen when running without battery? Does it happen when running with battery and on AC?
It runs both way, laptop is 2 years old.
In that case, it is not your battery (If it happens on mains power)
Maybe there's someone using a tesla coil in your proximity (Neighbours?), which can cause disturbance in the forces. Electromagnetic forces.
