Yes, on med-high settings it should run very well. Its your graphics card that's the weak spot.
im thinking about cross firing it, would that be good?
whats your res, thats key here
1920X1080 i think, but i can lower it
You will be able to run crysis on high. Don't expect great FPS on very high though.
What if i crossfire it though?
You'd probably get 30+ fps for very high settings if you crossfired.
Download the CCC patch. 50+ FPS* with the same looks as Very High.
*Depends on your resolution. But that's the result I got on 1280x1024.
I've got the exact same specs, but with 4 gigs of 1066 MHz ram.
Is crysis the most graphic hungry game on the market right now?
No, Metro 2033 is.
I run at about 30fps at specs lower than that at 1920x1200 on very high. Those patches bring be up about 20 or so FPS.
Sweet. Thanks guys
I laughed that the Recommended graphics card is an Nvidia 4xx lolles thats high...
Anyway i never heard about Metro 2033 before, wasn't advertised really.. The funny thing is that the two most graphics hungry GPUs are both about a person who lives underground from some sort of apocolypse type scenario and they have to go overground to get supplys/save people
The original Metros where the best...

wait i am thinking right? there was a game series called Metro? or somethings... unless im going mad.. where you were some woman dressed in an armored suit?
No, Metro 2033 is.
What? I thought it looked good but when I showed my friend he said it looked my a PS2 game and even though he's a console gammer I actually ended up agreeing with him.
What? no it's not.
Uhh yeah it is, there's a good amount of technology in Metro 2033 that isn't in Crysis. Crysis looks better in some cases, sure, but Metro uses brand new technology that Crysis doesn't. It's also stupidly unoptimized and eats GPUs like candy.
Visual appeal != best/newest technology used. Metro is ugly as sin because it uses too much brown, while Crysis is generally prettier because it has a lot of color (like real life actually does) and has a gigantic draw distance.
yes it is

It ran perfectly fine on my HD 2900, infact I was supprized to see the game set itself at the highest settings (For Directx 10) automatically.
Yeah, maybe at 800x600.
I want links and sources. Metro 2033 taxes high end cards like the 5850 for christ's sake. There's no way an HD 2900 could even dent it, not to mention it uses an implementation of PhysX, which is NVidia-based.
You'll run it fine.

what? no, that's dumb.

lies, unless proved otherwise.

A 5750 is a cheap knockoff card, and no actually I had it at 1024X768 because I have a small monitor, just because your computer ran it like shit doesn't mean the game is badly optimized and takes alot of power.

I can't prove it because my card had constant VPU Recoverying on Just Cause 2 and I got so pissed I ended up changing bios and it still didn't work so I got more pissed and ended up killing the card, so now I'm getting a 5770.

he said 5850, no idea where you got 5750.

Did you read the part how I killed my HD 2900?
how did you kill it? you stab it with a knife?
how did you kill it? you stab it with a knife?
I'm not going to argue with you considering you haven't read my previous posts and you are clearly just stupid.
you can't comment on my intelligence since you have no clue who I am.
and I did read your posts. IMO, you're a bullshitter. I never heard of a BIOS change breaking/killing a GPU.
[editline]12:23PM[/editline]
I even checked with Google and got no results. All I got a BIOS changed damaging/breaking CPUs.

Well then you know nothing about computers, And if you did read my post you would know it didn't break it the first few times and it broke it when I got pissed of and just decided to chaange it to a 3xxx bios because I had the money for a new card anyway.
