Expected the title to be "Doublefine is almost bankrupt".
I wish I never helped fund the first act of this piece of shit.
Schafer is a horrible person so I'm not buying this.
Stay #positive guys.
*almost* as in: I was *almost* interested in this game. Well Anouncement-Anouncements are an established thing nowadays I guess...
We only need another $200,000 to finish this act guys please donate.
Is the game actually bad?
Is the game actually bad?
Probably not bad, but for the amount of development time and money it got it should be better.
Is the game actually bad?
If you forget all of the development woes it's pretty good. Nice design and it's very pretty but it's an adventure game so in terms of gameplay it's the same as any other. Inefficient use of money though. Very short.

A very charming experience, but even with getting good VAs and having a pretty artstyle, I'm sure it could have cost a lot less than 3 mil to develop. A lot of it coulda been avoided if they weren't based out of San Francisco, which has a pretty high cost of living. They probably woulda been better off being based in Washington state or Virginia, though even with Washington state not having a state income tax (I think I now understand why Valve is based there), they could still have managed it a little better. But hey, at least they didn't set up shop in Rhode Island.

3.3 million

I thought the game was excellent and succeeds in its goal of being a "old-school point-and-click adventure" Just really short.
