Say a word, have someone turn said word into another word

I come to you with a new, but challenging Post Your. But it's actually simple. Say any word and have the next person use letters and make a new word out of it.
The challenge is, the word has to make sense, AND has to use letters from the above user's word. If you fail to make a word you're disqualified for one round until someone correctly does a second word.

Example: The word is Cranberry
Person 2: Bear (gets to pick another word for being correct)

Person 2: House
Person 3: Uhhh... (disqualified)
Person 2 picks again until someone that isn't Person 3 gets a word out of it, then Person 3 gets another crack of it.

There will be no score-keeping or a grand prize for getting the most words.
