• Reasonably new laptop keeps BSoDing and getting Disk Read Errors
    3 replies, posted
I've got a reasonably new laptop here (about 2 months old) and a couple days ago I started having problems. It's begun randomly getting the blue screen of death when playing games or browsing the internet, or other day to day tasks, and without any apparent reason. Last night it also gave a disk read error and refused to start at all, although this morning it seems to be working, for how long is anyone's guess though. It also seems to be running pretty slowly too as well, normally start up is pretty quick but it stuttered and froze a bit today. The laptop is a Packard Bell EasyNote TS11HR running Windows 7 home premium with the following specs: ProcessorIntel Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz Memory 4.00 GB GraphicsIntel HD Graphics Family Any help, or should I return it to get it fixed?
I think you should return it. Sounds like the disk is giving you issues.
Any hardware issues with a laptop involves a return. That's why you buy cheap laptops.
