One of my favorite moments in a video game, is in a game called Phoenix Wright: Justice For All.
(Spoilers.)
Were Miles Edgeworth, a long time prosecutor, appears after a year announcing his death. (He said he was going to kill himself because his "perfect win record in court" got demolished and he also didn't know what being a "prosecutor" meant, but it seems like he didn't kill himself. And all this time he was searching for the answer of being a prosecutor)
He appears, epic music plays and I just stand there going, "what the fuck? Edgey is back?! Fuck yeah!"
He is a really awesome character in the Phoenix Wright series.
And tears of joy were formed when he came back, so yeah, that was my favorite moment.

In the good old Psi-ops, Final boss fight you get that super power, which makes you stand in a cool action pose. When i saw it the first time I went crazy.

Pretty much the last few mission of every Ace Combat game.

Not the all time best, but one of the best childish awe moments for me was the first time I cut a headcrab zombie in half with a saw blade via gravity gun in Half-Life 2. Or using most of the traps in Ravenholme.
The ending of Deadpool [sp]when he punches Mister Sinister in the balls then teleports right before the sentinel boot crushes the fuck out of him.[/sp]
In BulletStorm [sp]when you control 'Widdleton P Tallylicker' the godzilla esque robot and set loose all hell with it.[/sp]
In almost any of the Halo games when you have to do the 'epic escape' scene to end the game, I love that rushing sensation of the whole place is about to blow and your narrowly escape.

I was playing Saints Row 2, flying a helicopter around listening to the radio. Take On Me comes on and I start singing along. When the songs ends I get an achievement for singing along with the radio. I was an awesome moment because I didn't know the character was singing along at the same time.
