There seems to be a problem with my built in laptop microphone...
For some strange reason I can't get it to work with steam the only thing that seems to work out for microphone activity is going ingame to options/voice/test microphone or shift+tab/settings/voice/ test micropone. I have no idea what's wrong with it...I tried switching from automatic to push to talk and pulling checking the enable voice for this game. How do I fix it?
Are you saying it's working when you test the mic, but not when you try to use it? MAke sure it's set as the default device in the control panel's sound options, and maybe disable giving applications exclusive control over the device.
