• Windows 10 weird resolution issue

Yeah I kinda have some strange things going on since I made a fresh Windows 10 installation earlier today. Particularly in that even after installing my AMD drivers I can't seem to get the proper resolution. Even though it's selected and the computer seems to fully think it's running at that resolution it just doesn't look right. Like it fits the screen but doesn't seem to actually fit it and just looks blurry as if it wasn't the right resolution. Even stranger is that if I run a game in fullscreen mode in the proper resolution it looks perfectly fine and if I exit the game it makes the desktop and rest of the computer resolution look fine afterwards. While this is a nice temporary fix to make it look acceptable, it just won't do. I've also noticed that if I start a game and then alt-tab it seems to just break the resolution and make it look all wonky again. I've tried both beta and stable AMD drivers but neither one really seems to change anything. The resolution is 1360x768 and I use a small Emerson flatscreen TV for my display. It's worth noting it worked perfectly fine in Windows 7 and multiple distributions of Linux. Any help is appreciated as this is super annoying.
Check your display scaling settings. Right click desktop > Display settings The slider labeled "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" is the display scaling setting. Try setting it to 100%, or other values and see which one looks best

It's still a blurry mess. It literally looks like it's in a resolution just slightly too high or low for it even though it's not. That annoying kind of blurry.
Perhaps you need to calibrate your cleartype settings?
This also doesn't do anything to change it, unfortunately. I wish I could give more helpful feedback on the problem but the OP pretty much says it all.
Check your overscan setting in Catalyst under My Digital Panels. Make sure its set to 0%. Also, make sure the Pixel Mode (I forget what its called) is set to 4:4:4 Full RGB. Not YCbCr.

Not YCbCr.
The pixel mode was already on the proper setting. Although there is something interesting about the overscan settings I just noticed. When I've sort of temporarily fixed the resolution issue by starting a game and then exiting it, the overscan option in catalyst is grayed out and unable to be changed. But, when I haven't done it and it's doing the blurry mess crap, the option is available and able to be changed. Although it seems to already be on 0%. Unfortunately this hasn't fixed anything, although it may have something to do with it.
Unfortunately I have been unable to resolve this issue still. It's horribly obnoxious to have to start a game in order to fix my resolution any time I get done playing other fullscreen games or when the computer starts. My god please save me from this hell.
