Hello FP. Sorry if this is not in the right section, i was not sure on where to put it. Would a mod please kindly move it for me if its not in the right section. A while back when i was building my PC, i had bought a ASUS M2N-MX SE and a AMD Althon X2 6000+ 1MB Of Cache. Now, when I bought them I was stupid and forgot to check the asus site to see if the processor i bought was supported by my motherboard, Turns out they are not compatible. Now, I'm planning on buying a new processor but, whats the best one I could get for my current motherboard or if my motherboard is that old, should I go for a Motherboard/processor combo, which combo should i go for? While your looking, could you please use this site if possible, its a local store. memoryexpress.com My current spec's: Motherboard: ASUS M2N-MX SE Processor: AMD Althon X2 6000+ RAM: 4.0GB Kingston Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 335MHZ Graphic's Card: ATI Radeon HD 2600XT (Sapphire) Hard Drive: 250GB Seagate Audio: Creative X-FI Gamer Edition Thanks, Jp22334455
Look it up yourself. Check the Asus site to see what processors are compatible with your motherboard and see if they are good enough for you.
