• e:/ is not accessible, access is denied

So I just got Windows 7 64-bit and as I tried to access my hard drive with all my games on it I find that it is not able to be accessed. I do not understand why, all connections to the hard drive itself are solid, and it worked perfectly in Windows Vista 32-bit. An odd thing to take into account: I can manually direct myself to "E:/Program Files" in Windows Explorer but otherwise trying to go to the drive itself, "E:/", is not possible. It would be really cool if I wouldn't have to reinstall 500GB of games after formatting for no reason, so I really need your help. Thanks! Edit: If it helps, it does not show the % that the hard drive is being used, eg. It doesn't show me 450 GB free of 465 GB If it helps again, when I move it into properties it reads 0B / 0B free space.
Check the permissions on the drive.
