So three things happen when they touch down.
1. The game goes up on torrent sites.
2. Thousands of sweaty nerds dive into the middle of the street, stopping heavy traffic, to grab a copy.
3. Several copies are crushed by moving cars.

They can't launch 3 into space without launching the first 2, the Aliens wont know what the shit's going on, will spoil the whole thing for 'um.

Where on the site does it show the current position of the games?
I dunno about you but it seems like a pretty neat idea to me. I mean, I don't actually want the game and I'm sure people will take it way too seriously and there will obviously be some flaws, but it's still kinda cool.

Because of how bad Dragon Age 2 was.
And what if it hits someone in the head? From that falling distance that could be a fatal and deadly blow. At the very least cause some strong injuries. Doesn't matter if it's light when it has a good amount of speed going on.

I'm pretty sure they'll keep it attached to the balloon as it descends so they don't accidentally cause the first "death by video game falling from upper atmosphere".

I always though mass effect was a shitty game with a great story. I loved the story of it, but i can't stand the controls, gameplay and the fact that it doesn't support Anti-aliasing.

I figure they've loaded each copy with parachutes seeing as even if the games didn't hit anyone, I doubt the games would survive the impact of the ground (depending on where they land).
