"Sorry, I just checked that WoW release date because it was playing on my mind and it turns out it was released in 2004, not 1918. I was thinking of World War One (WWO)." This is a pitty attempt to make a joke.
I had to read that 1918 thing many times to see if im reading it wrong.
Why do we still have this source as a bot... It's really interesting that, even at WoW's lowest sub rate in years, they still have more subscribers than Norway does citizens.

Estonia has hardly 1,2 million people, a bit varied number in Latvia and Lithuania as well (i think Lithuania has 2 mil?)
Why do we still have this source as a bot...
Because prior to a couple of months ago the articles were slightly better. They oddly started to go down hill around when RPS was dropped from the bot feed.
Just wait until Legion is about to comes, the numbers will come back.
I hate to be that person, but this is a bit late. Hell, the article on Forbes was posted on "AUG 5, 2015 @ 2:29 PM". With that all said and done, the last time WoW had this amount of subs was back in Q4 of 2005. For anyone that's interested, there's a chart here that has logged all the subs since Q1 of 2005.
Just wait until Legion is about to comes, the numbers will come back.
Subscriber numbers are already increasing since the announcement. But I doubt they'll get as much as they did with Warlods of Draenor. They really fucked up.

True, I kinda enjoyed it while I did, and was happy to ding a big number with 100, but that was during my experience in that "I've finally caught up with everyone" moment." Now I can agree, while I wasn't that sore about it, it was very weak. Legion looks far more interesting, and I will be happy to level a Paladin just to wield Ashbringer, one of my favorite weapons in gaming, next to Gorehowl and The Doomhammer.
I think if they show off more and whats to come with this new expac, they have the potential to get more subscribers/people returning. Also the promise of a new class might make more people return. I always love playing the class while it's overpowered.
Just wait until Legion is about to comes, the numbers will come back.
And then sharply decline within 2 months
And then sharply decline within 2 months
Honestly I see Legion as the big deathrattle of WoW. See alot of my friends and I agree, if there was an expac to ever come out that would mean that World of Warcraft was finally about to wrap up, it would involve Sargeras coming back, and playing a major part in it. Which also could mean finally a Warcraft 4, which I look foward to because I liked Warcraft III, I want to see a modern version of it. And then afterwards maybe a WoW 2 but with some spice maybe?

The only way i could see that happening is if they completely change the graphics to be realistic or something and then remodel everything and theres completely new zones. No more azeroth. That would take quite a few years to make. And the amount of time people have put into the current WoW, i doubt people would like to move to the second one until at least a 2nd expansion/
True, but that's really just me wondering a world where WoW was eventually shut down or something like that. I mean the whole thing is, if we get Sargeras, and finally beat him once and for all. Then what fucking comes after that? The big expac where you finally play as Gnolls and Murlocs? :v: [editline]28th August 2015[/editline] After Sargeras is beaten expacs are gonna be hard to really find excuse to be made to keep WoW going without feeling a little trite. Old Gods? I Don't know how the WoW base would feel about that. and if they just don't kill Sargeras and save him for another expac, then you'd be just pissing everyone off, because they would know you're just holding his final defeat for the sake of more expacs. The only major expac I could see afterwards is a big war between the Alliance and the Horde for all the beans in the jar probably, but that's just be grasping for string.
They might end up just introducing something random and subtle during this expansion where something big is heading to Azeroth.
only 2 content patches, 60 dollars, barely any dungeons, barely any raid content, continent kinda sucked, garrisons are a facebook game that you cant even access from outside the game, etc
You mean 35 dollars, morron.
You mean 35 dollars, morron.
Well that was unneeded and rude. Learn some manners
