Gotta love the ShackNews sensationalist title to rile people up, Then posting a thread explaining that they were full of shit.
Wasn't this kind of obvious originally? People just looked at the title and then flipped their shit without even reading that it was only until the payment was verified. They wouldnt have any reason to do this unless there was a legit issue with people using fraudulent cards then hacking or botting for a few days and shifting the gold/items before being banned, or something like that.

Thing is that no-one really reads the licensing agreements nowadays; they just wanna play the game. This way they overlook certain things in the agreements and get shafted when something happens.
General chat gold spam has been reduced to 0 since then so whatevs
