So that is the computer I'm going to be getting this Christmas. I have already searched up each part of the computer adding it up to a total and is around the same price so I'm not too fussed. Just wondering what this desktop would grant me in an approximate benchmarking system?
The games I play currently are weak and requires no effort at all to run such as Half Life 2, Garry's Mod, CSS, CS:GO etc... Garry's Mod is the worst FPS out of all, even on Sandbox and gm_construct.
I want to start to play games such as Far Cry, Mafia II, Infestation: Survivor Stories with ease.
I also record a lot of my games, so I was wondering if I could record Minecraft and all? I'm not too bothered about Far Cry but Minecraft, Garry's Mod and CS:GO are my top games to record.
Thanks for your readings and helps in the meantime.
Build your own, you'll be able to get something that gets way better performance for the same price.
Any thoughts of specs I could get for around £500?

Try this. What is your absolute highest amount. Cause for another 100 or so pound, you'd be able to go up to a better processor and more ram. However, with this build, in the future if you wanted to upgrade, you could stick in another 4gb of ram and get a 8350 to replace the 6300.
Of course, wait til everyone else posts here to see their opinions, they will probably find something I may have overlooked.
This will run all the games you listed at great frame rates. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1R4n4

I would go for this if you plan on upgrading soon: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1R4AE
The advantage of going with the 6300 instead is that you can overclock it; although, you'll need to buy a good heatsink like a hyper 212 evo which adds another $30.
If you do prefer the FX-6300, swap out the RAM, PSU, and case in the above build for the ones in this build so you can get 8 GB of RAM.
A third alternative is to get this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/1R4F8 (you can buy the heatsink later if you want), and buy a 650 ti boost later after you've saved up. I recommend this path, because HD 4600 is pretty good for integrated graphics, and afterwards you get both a great video card and the best gaming processor on the market.
