I'm trying to partition my HDD for iDeneb without losing any of my data, I've discovered this program and I'm just wondering if it does its job without any problems, I couldn't find much feedback on it.
I've re sized the main partition and added the partition for iDeneb, I basically just need to press apply.
There's always a chance that you'll lose everything when you partition your hard drive, no matter what program you use.
One other question, how much space do I really need for iDeneb? It says It only requires 6.1gb, but do I need more space for just random shit like applications or can I access the rest of my HDD that I use in Vista?
I'd give it 15GB
But afterward am I able to access my other partition that I use in windows?

Yes, I'd give it at least 30gb.
I'd recommend Parted Magic.
Is Partition Wizard a Windows program? I'd strongly suggest that you don't do online partitioning. That means don't mess with your partition while you're using it.

Parted Magic is a Linux CD that you boot up and resize partitions with. Since it runs off a CD, you're not using the partition that is being resized.
Why not Pqmagic?
Just use Gparted, Gnome Partition Editor. You burn it to a live CD, boot it up, and edit your stuff. That way, you make sure you're not messing with the partition while you use it. It's got pretty much all of the features you would need too.

As for the sizes, it depends on your HDD size. If it's smaller just use 15gb. If you've got a big one use 50gb, whatever. Yes, you will be able to mount the partitions that you use in Windows.
Have you tried the Vista partitioner? It has some weird missing feature but I can't remember what, but might be enough for you.

PartedMagic has Gparted and other assorted tools as an FYI.
You'd boot up PartedMagic and use the program Gparted just like you would on the Gparted cd.
GParted fucks up windows boot.
No it doesn't.
Are you sure? Because I want to use it to give my Linux more space (I'm running Virtualbox to use Windows XP within Linux, so I feel Linux should be given more space).

Only seems fair since Windows deletes Grub.
Partition Magic (not partition wizard) was one of the the best partition editing applications before it was bought out by Symantec. It has a history of about 15 years of reliability and I have never seen it fail unless you were using a loopy drive.

fixed
I use Gparted, works for me. The only thing I've encountered is that if you resize your Windows boot partition when you boot it up it will say "the volume is dirty" and it will scan for errors. This doesn't affect anything though, and after it's done it will boot up as normal and won't show that again.
I suggest Paragon Partition Manager, works perfect for me.
Partition magic is the best partitioner in the history of the universe.
