There was a sequel?
There was a sequel?
It's been on early access for a while, it still is.
I haven't played (read: can't play) Audiosurf in a long time because I stream the majority of my music through Google Music All Access these days It would be nice if they teamed up with Google or Spotify but I doubt it'll ever happen

Spotify has a developer API, and there's an (unofficial) Google Music API too... EDIT: actually, i think that the problem is that spotify won't let you just "grab" a full song, only stream it... which is a problem for audiosurf obviously.
Bought it, gave it a try, liked it as much as the original.
Is this much better than the original game? I've been seriously considering getting it for a while.
Modding support is a big part of the game this time - Anyone can write gamemodes or design themes for it now, so definitely check out the workshop It's still in alpha though - the frontend is a mess, I personally don't care for their headline gamemode "wakeboard" (you ramp off extreme changes of loudness and do tricks) and some features from the first are missing But for me, the main reason I've not played it anywhere near as much as the first is it's not all that different. But watch some youtube videos and judge for yourself
