Well, not only did you misunderstand my post (which is impressively genius, it was pretty simple) you also made an incorrect assumption. You realize that apple now owns much less of the phone market than Android right? This isn't speculation - this is fact.

Why would any judge come to this decision? This is completely idiotic. Does Apple [I]really[/I] think they need to wipe out some competitor in the disguise of patent infringing? Did they decide they didn't have enough fucking money being tossed at them from their ultra-loyal fanbase for their incredibly overpriced products?
It horrifies me thinking of Apple possibly controlling almost all of the tablet/phone market, God forbid they do the same for the desktop/laptop computer market.

The exact height and width might be different, but just look at it -- they would be the same damn product if the damn icons matched.

Have you ever seen or held the iPad and Galaxy Tab in person? They really don't look that similar (beyond the fact that they are tablets with very similar screen ratios), and they sure as hell feel different in your hands. Not to mention the back of the iPad has a giant Apple logo, and the iPad has a hard button on the front (unlike Tab which has none). It would be pretty hard to confuse the two, and it's not like Samsung is TRYING to mislead consumers into thinking the Tab is an iPad; it is a [I]competitor[/I] to the iPad. You can't sue someone for that.
