Hey guys, I just wanted to know what your opinions are, GGD made me quite angry telling me that Windows XP is 10 years old and that there's no reason people should still be on it, and that it sucks. Fuck.
Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
Windows 7 is faster than both of them, and has a much better UI.
Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
I really hope you're joking. [editline]12:29AM[/editline] Get 7, it's a lot more stable than XP and faster.
Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
Please be troll. Windows 7 for sure. XP is outdated and everything XP did 7 does better.

7 uses less power saving you money on your energy bill. The more you know [star].

7 hands down
Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
AHAHAHAHAHA... oh wow OP, go get Seven. it's a very good and cool OS.
If your computer CAN run 7, you are far better off doing so, it's way more stable, and more secure
Depends, if you just want to use your computer for daily work and playing games, use 7. If you want to play older games, struggle around with hardware or such, use XP. I know that you can still do that on 7, but it takes a lot of optimization(like installing the XP virtual machine thing, disabling automatic driver downloads and all that).
Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
Stable? Vista?
Please be troll.

Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
Even I disagree with you. And I'm the one who'll defend Vista in every way possible.
Even I disagree with you. And I'm the one who'll defend Vista in every way possible.
Vista was just fine, anyone who knows anything will defend it against someone who says it just blatantly sucks. That being said, 7 is better and what Vista should have been.
Some things might have trouble running at a decent speed on Windows 7 like Doom 3, but, windows 7 is a huge improvement over xp and vista.
XP is better for older hardware. My desktop only has a DX9 capable GPU so I get the best performance from XP. I run 7 on my other machines.
7 bro
I just installed 7 today (Previously XP). I hate it because I too, feel that a lot of the features on 7 feel a bit flashy and gimmicky. I don't like how everything glows when you hover over it, and how there needs to be a smooth transition between everything (like when you minimize/maximize a window for example). Note though, I JUST installed it today so I haven't figured out if you can disable all that stuff or not. Performance wise, I'm sure Windows 7 is better. But I really do not like the way Windows 7 "feels" compared to XP.
Get 7 if you like flashy gimmicks, if you want a stable OS get Vista.
I think you meant it the other way around. Oh yeah and get 7, the reasons had already been explained here. Except that I for one love how flashy it is.
If anything 7 should be more stable than Vista since it would have more bugfixes with very little sweeping design changes.

There's some pretty good homestead and even royale themes if that would make you feel better. Royale is sex.

But XP had this too, by the way.
There's some pretty good homestead and even royale themes if that would make you feel better. Royale is sex.
Who the fuck wants Luna Olive?
Windows xp is for shit-systems like Pentium IIIs with 256MB RAM, anything better gets Win7 or Linux. Personally, I find it embarrassing to see modern netbooks still being sold with XP on them...
Who the fuck wants Luna Olive?
What? [editline]06:04AM[/editline] Hmm, I guess wikipedia lied to me. Blue then.
I liked Luna Silver, it was easier on the eyes than the blue, and the olive was just horrid.
Get 7. Vista is out of the question. Haha
On topic: Assuming your hardware is fairly modern, Windows 7 without a doubt. Off topic: I had the zune theme on xp (dark chocolate brown, nearly black) as I was sick to death of silver and blue (didn't want to try olive green either, looks like vomit).
