• Old seeds, germinating, whats my chance of success?

tl'dr: 6 months old, found them in some weed, trying to germinate, are the chances in my favor? also, don't like weed gtfo. --- I'm just curious for a few quick, genuine responses. --- I found some seeds in some very tasty marijuana about 6 months ago. Bagged and kept in a dry, cool place up until now. I've read up and I kept them in a situation which is perfect. Therefore, what do you think the chance of success is for these seeds. I'm currently germinating them under a sheet of wet towel, in a warm draw with a bowl over the top, they are on a plate. What do weedseeds (i.e. those found in weed) stand a chance for in terms of germinating/succesful planting. No crying, don't like weed, gtfo this thread. i threw some in a pot (lol) of dirt and a couple grew (but were males)
Depends if they're damaged or not...
Undamaged, shell intact. I should have wacked my camera out and got some high def pictures, but the lens broke.
Decent, I've homegrown a bit of my stash. What you did 6 months ago was good. Just hope it works out.

Don't except them to feminize though.
Don't except them to feminize though.
I won't. I'm just going to have a practice plant with these and not expect anything good to smoke, and instead just learn a bit about the process, then contemplate buying some decent seeds. [editline]01:16AM[/editline] Just rewatered the paper, no luck as of yet.
Shouldn't this be here? Either way, you probably have an okay chance to produce something, especially if they're not completely dry and crunchy (IE no moisture left, no living material) It's worth a shot, but I'd guess a 35% chance? I had year old seeds sprout believe it or not. Luck maybe.
Didn't know it existed. Terribad. Thanks for the help, y'all can stop bumping now.
CAN a 90 year old woman give birth?
