I'm somewhat computer illiterate, but my current PC is a complete POS and I'm looking to upgrade. I was looking around, and found this: http://www.amazon.com/iBUYPOWER-503D3-Desktop-Windows-Premium/dp/B002WIDNPC/ref=dp_return_2?ie=UTF8&n=541966&s=pc ^^Its specs, for the lazy: CPU: 3.0GHz AMD AthlonIIx2 250 Processor (I don't know shit about CPUs) Memory: 4GB RAM (definitely more than I have) Graphics: ATI Radeon HD4350 512MB Graphics (I've heard this card is alrite, not sure though) Hard Drive: 500GB SATA II3.0Gb/s 7200RPM Hard Drive, 22x DVDRW Drive OS it comes with: Windows 7 (Can't complain) On Amazon, it's about $600, but if anyone knows a better PC source than that, please speak up. om what I can tell, I think it's a pretty good PC, but I wanted verification from people who actually know what they're doing before I go ahead and buy it.

Average build, RAM is probably DDR2 and 4350 is not for gaming.
dell.com becuase you can get it the same but a little cheaper
dell.com becuase you can get it the same but a little cheaper
You don't buy a prebuilt PC at all. You build one yourself. You can get something so much better for 600 bucks.

Alienware is the last place you go [editline]07:38PM[/editline] FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUU NINJAS
ya but some people dont have the time a good gameing PC maker is aleinware
Don't have the time? What? It takes like, what, 3 hours? If you have the time to play games, you sure as hell have time to build a PC. That's just a shitty excuse for being lazy.
OP, build your own. It's not as difficult as you think. Facepunch will decide the best parts for you based on your budget, and use the following tutorials to assemble it: http://www.pcityourself.com/building/introduction.php (Has nice animations for each stage of the process) Actual video tutorial: PART 1 PART 2
Me?
I don't know? Lol, someone recently did it. Were you one of them?
3 hours lol I build them in around 30 minutes and then another 30 for installing windows.
Cable management always takes a fuckton of time for me.
Cable management always takes a fuckton of time for me.
See mine doesn't usually take long to cable manage cause if I am building for somebody else I do not take nearly the care I do in my cable managment.
If you are a complete noob at building and don't know about compatibility one thing you can do is this. Go to any website Look for a fairly good prebuilt computer. Look at the specs. Take note of EVERY single thing on the computer. Go to a website like newegg or tiger direct and search the individual parts there. You will have the exact same thing but a lot cheaper. That is if you absolutely have no clue what you are doing. Once you learn more about compatibility and what works with what and power supply you can completely customize what you want. I'd suggest reading up on pc building before doing anything thou.
I'm sure you have a lot of happy customers...
They don't care they don't know you can open computers. If somebody knew enough to ask for it sure I would.
I'm sure you have a lot of happy customers...
If the person can't build a computer, do you think they're gonna give a shit about cable management?

Nowhere are the brands, or the RAM speed or time. Plus a lot of prebuilts come with OEM CPUs like the p2 910 that are not avalible retail, and RAM that are made by companies such as hyundai
And Hitachi. :downs:
They have hitachi retail drives. quality is questionable though.
I checked newegg and you can build exactly the same computer for less than 500$
