If I sync just my iPod's videos, will it also sync my songs?

I want to add a movie to my iPod, but to add it, I have to sync my iPod. I check the box that says, "Sync Movies", and it says something about being sure about changing the setting. I click yes, and it says that it will sync my iPod, and replace my old library. What scares me is losing my 551 songs that I don't have saved, being lost, all because I want to add a movie to my iPod. Now, I know this sounds stupid, but Apple is a fucking retarded company, and probably will reset all of my songs. Can somebody clarify whether this will do this or not?

Oh wait, when it asks me "Are you sure you want to sync blah blah blah", it says it will replace all my movies, songs, etc. What the fuck is the point of having a checkbox for "Sync movies" if it syncs everything else? I don't want to lose everything my fucking Library, this is retarded
Your syncing the iPod with your whole iTunes, if you don't want the video you have on your iTunes to sync to your iPod, don't check the box, that's its purpose... Don't blame apple for having lost all your songs, probably to a reformat from a porn virus.
