it took me nine hours and over a dozen deaths to finish the first level.
Damn son, that's kind of sad.
Once you know dark souls, it's really not that hard. It's all about builds and pvp for me now. Ain't got time to do new game + or anything.
Something that really attracts me about Dark Souls is the atmosphere and the whole background, the design of the locations, weapons, armor and enemies is amazing.
While they should try to keep it as difficult, maybe a little more difficult in some areas, they should also try to have a little less complete bullshit. Like Blighttown, that entire area was horseshit. And Ornstien/Smough being litterally the hardest boss in the game (not counting DLC bosses atleast) when it's around the halfway point was also really dumb.

Four Kings are the hardest, what you talkin' 'bout I can easily solo bill an ted any day. Four kings are four cunts.
Yeah I also had some trouble with Biggie and Smalls but I was eventually able to succeed by targeting Ed and beating Shaun after he was dead. I didn't have near as much trouble with any of the bosses after Kenan and Kel, which is pretty disappointing, but I can understand it because the Earl/Randy fight was like a door from one part of the game into another.
Pikachu and Snorlax are unforgiving against new players, but yeah not as tough once you figure them out.
God, I'm fucking horrible at this game and it kicks my ass for it and I love it.
Dave and Buster are easy (well atleast if you know what to do...) Holy shit @ all these O&S names.
#1 strategy for dark souls: Never. Stop. Moving.
I had huge problems with the camera and unpredictability of the lockon button, it wouldn't get me killed but it would sure as hell take a chunk of my health through no fault of my own hopefully ds2 is less clunky than the first
