I want to see google, facebook, bing, and all the other often used websites to start blocking IPs from government installations, including schools and such until the NSA stops this stupidity
"stop spying, I'm the one who should be doing that!" - zuckerberg

Yeah, that's pretty much him. He's even publicly stated how damn stupid some people are with sharing their information on Facebook.
As for American intelligence agencies and their spying, yeah, it's worrying. It's on a level I didn't expect for another 10 years, at least.

I don't know what Zuckerberg has done in regards of spying, but what I do know is that Facebook and other users have access to only what you give/let them. You put your phone number on Facebook, and have it set to "Public?" Well, yeah, no shit, now Facebook and anyone else has access to your phone number, because you have it set to such. NSA, however, is more about tapping into information we never opted to give them. Please, correct anything I've said wrong.

what about when you set your location to private, yet the advertisements still somehow contain something that is local to them? did you opt to give your information then?
and how about those "private" facebook chats that, if you say something potentially incriminating, are used against you as evidence when you never opted to give to anyone else but the chat recipient?
this is all just pr talk, zuckerberg will never change the profit facebook makes by being a tool of espionage

In other news, new web filters prevent government employees slacking off, NSA reports significant increases in efficiency.
I would be confused and frustrated too if the government was exploiting their resources to do insider trading bullshit with my company.

Aren't there terms and conditions that you agree to, which say "Facebook can/will do this and this?"

"The US government should be the champion for the internet, not a threat."
That's a great quote.
