• GTA4 odd freeze issue, is it my computer or the game and how do I fix?

So I bought GTA4 a few days ago and I've been having this weird issue. The game will freeze after around an hour or so of play time and the screen will go gray, when I crtl alt delete out the desktop will have weird visual glitches. This has happened 3 times, the first two times I assumed it was my graphics card overheating so I spent a large amount of time changing setting, cleaning fans ect. However it happened again today even after all the measures to make sure my computer didn't overheat. Is this my graphics card overheating or the game itself? And if it's the game itself how do I fix it? Also here's what I'm playing it on: [url]http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=5571&review=asus+g73+g73jh[/url]
It sounds like graphics artifacting. Google and download "Speedfan", and play GTAIV with Speedfan running. When you start to freeze, alt+tab to Speedfan and see what your card's temp is, then post it here.

[editline]9th January 2011[/editline] Okay so far without GTA running I'm getting anywhere from 42 to 52 without 50 and above giving me an overheating warning. [editline]9th January 2011[/editline] Okay starting GTA4 gave me 4 overheating warnings.
As long as it's below 70 you're fine. If the glitches start whrn you're in the 80s/90s then you're overheating.
It might get there, so far with gta4 running I'm getting up to 61 degrees.
