I wish I could play the EVE that you see in trailers.
Their trailers are always great. Too bad in real life eve the distances are so great that you just see specs.

I've been in some big fights and the only reason I saw specs was because I was so far zoomed out. I very well could have zoomed in to a normal view and seen things like in the trailer. The zooming out is just so it's easier to target the ship that needs to be targeted.
I looked on steam and they got the starter pack on sale, i can't seem to find what the starter pack includes though..anyone know?

You get 30 days of time, a special edition frigate (not worth much, everyone has one), exploration modules, skillbooks, and skill booster implant.
I'll end up getting it then, well worth 5 dollars.
I felt like this trailer was a bit dumb.

Thats exactly what I mean. If you dont zoom out you are at a disadvantage.
1. Wait for pilot to eject from Velator outside station
2. Hijack empty Velator
3. Send ransom note for Velator to pilot
4. ???
5. Poverty
I hate how CCP is starting to focus on the pilots inside the ships.
It's more clear from the newer trailers, where it has character face shots and shit like that
that's not why I played eve, and its not why many people play eve
