Shit game.
Well, shit is shit even when cheap.
What exactly is so bad about Homefront?
hell no
Who even plays this anyway?
No thanks
Still waiting for the countdown thing to begin again so I can actually "enter" again
What exactly is so bad about Homefront?
If you like door kick simulators, nothing.
Not worth it. Unless you enjoy games that feel like Battlefield and Call of Duty had sex, and Call of Duty was the bitch in the relationship and carried it for 8 months and then decided to have an abortion but it still survived.
If you like door kick simulators, nothing.
You mean a watch someone else kick a door simulator.
Oh come on guys, the multiplayer was actually pretty fun. In before dumbs and accusations of my terrible tastes in all things gaming. [editline]8th December 2011[/editline] I'm the guy that said Kane & Lynch 2 "wasn't that bad".

They promised so much with Homefront "You won't play one character through the whole game, you won't be a one man army" Then what happened? You play one character throughout the whole game, and you are a one man army.
Don't do it, I bought it for $15 during the THQ week and I really regret getting it. It's so mediocre I wouldn't even recommend it for $2.50.
So much potential. So, much, potential. But all of it was squandered trying to compete with today's generic and fully scripted idea of an FPS.
I laughed at everyone who possibly thought that this could have been a good game. I knew from the very instant I started seeing the trailers that it was going to be complete crap and lo and behold I was right. My friend had me play the demo without letting me know I was playing homefront, and I honestly believed when he told me it was another Duty Calls(the cod parody) level. I was laughing at what I thought were intentional parodies of shooter motifs but was shocked when told I was actually playing Homefront.
It was an amusing distraction while waiting for the good games to come out, but in general it's rather bad. It tried to be CoD and BF at the same time and failed to do either well, although I wouldn't say it as bad as a lot of people make it out to be.
The singleplayer was pretty god-awful, but the MP, despite having somewhat stiff gameplay had a lot of really cool features.

Nobody wished for this game.
They should have made a sequel to Frontlines Fuel of War
They should have made a sequel to Frontlines Fuel of War
The multiplayer was pretty much that.
The multiplayer was pretty much that.
Yeah i tried the multiplayer of Homefront and i agree with that Tho i really liked the setting of Frontlines (Desert / fight for fuel)
I played it during the free weekend. I thought the battlepoints thing was pretty cool, but overall I didn't feel as if I would get the same play time out of it like I do BF3 or like I did with MW and MW2.
Honestly with the price that low I'd say it's worth it. Yeah the singleplayer campaign is pretty short but the storytelling is rather well done and the multiplayer is just great, if a little short on small-arms weapons.
I laughed at everyone who possibly thought that this could have been a good game.
Same here. Then I played it and it wasn't as bad as I thought, but still pretty bad. Singleplayer had a decent story, but gameplay was a big flaw. I do admit though, I had a lot of fun in the mulitplayer mode with a friend of mine.
I heard that a lot of people say the multiplayer is fun
I heard that a lot of people say the multiplayer is fun
It is, very. Although the shotty is a pump action sniper rifle.
I'm just here for the contest.
