I don't really see the point in this. you pay money for something / someone gifts you something, then you just remove it from your account? it's not like this stuff takes space, it's digital, why not just let it sit in your library and never use it? you already paid the money, no point in removing something of value even if it's never used. if something in your library really bothers you, why not just hide it from your library?
I guess more choice is good? Kinda?
Really, this is pointless.
Not really, now when people hi-jack accounts...

Not if there's a verification step with Steam Mobile.
Thank the Lord
- Pony World 3
- Bad Rats
- Hatoful Boyfriend
- Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure
- And some anime school girl game
- Garry's mod
Not sure why this was added, there's a hide option when adding games to a category.
I suppose if you move and want to get a different region's edition of the game, like if you got l4d2 in germany but moved (or visited) the US and wanted to get the uncensored copy
Thank you. So much. My brother and I got a coop game called Shoot Many Robots for about 3 dollars. It's so bad that I truly want to erase this from my library.

If you have over 500 games, it's an absolute pain in the ass to manage and find your games

I don't see the point in wasting money instead of using these.
So when your account gets hacked and you get it back you will see it with 0 games and items.
Well done Valve, why not let us resell the game at least?

What if you want to browse trough your library or don't know the name of a game?
What if you want to browse trough your library or don't know the name of a game?
Take ten minutes, mark all the shit games in the list view (about 50% of my 658 games), hide them and it's done - browsing is much easier now. Additionally I created three categories: "Games I finished", "Games I should finish" and "Games for my Sister".
I have to remove Left 4 Dead 2 to remove Left 4 Dead 2 Beta? Kinda shit... I'll stick with hiding them.
Goodbye juiced 2 :)
I can see hackers having a field day with this feature.
Why are people seeing this as a positive thing?
It's just going to make me 300% more OCD about my Steam account and make me even more scared of it getting hijacked.
Goodbye juiced 2 :)
juiced 2 is on steam?
TIL

organization is piss easy
Not really, now when people hi-jack accounts...
At this point they're not getting mine unless they know the last time I took a shit there's so much verification involved.
organization is piss easy
Still needs an option to just drag games into certain sections. I hate having to go through the categories checkbox.

Came with the THQ pack back when that was a thing

you can multiselect so
you can multiselect so
I realize that but to make use of that there is a lot of tedious selecting and scrolling. Would be convenient to simply drag games into the groups I already have. And especially for it to stop scrolling up to the top after I've put some in categories.

yeah but if you have many games like me, scrolling technically would be slower
dragging and dropping would REALLY stream line it perfectly though, especially if Big Picture actually had something to better group stuff

This was actually the first and only thing i did
not sure if you guys are joking about deleting tf2 but i thought deleted games also get rid of playtime hours and boot them off your community profile as well
[editline]5th December 2015[/editline]
if deleting games dont even remove any of that, then i fail to see whats the point of this feature at all
I really don't care whether or not it does that, I just want TF2 off my list.
The game keeps reinstalling itself like malware, I've uninstalled it probably 100 times.
[editline]o[/editline]
How is this dumb?
Removing this one is a good reason, the compagny is no existing anymore and the server was shutdown since a while and the game was just online so still unplayable and no reason to keep it ...
Finally !!
