Bought a new 22" monitor, but a random green spot is appearing

Ok so I bought myself a new monitor, and it's working great by the looks of it. Only thing thats bothering me is there's a random green speck (very small on my screen). I've tried adjusting the wires so they're 'tighter' and all that jazz, but I don't know whats wrong with it.

I mean it's not a huge deal, but its kind of annoying to see.

I would, there's programs which claim to unstick them but I would just take it back to be on the safeside.
