What are some games that would last me a while on PC, games such as, Skyrim Fallout Stalker etc..
Team Fortress 2
EYE Divine Cybermancy
Space Pirates and Zombies
Mass Effect 1 and 2
Can't go wrong with the usual sandbox games people always say, Dwarf Fortress, Minecraft, Towns (It's a bit iffy but I'm enjoying it), X3. If you want something that's and RPG but will keep you hooked and has a little bit of difficulty, could check out Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition, controller preferred for that though. Borderlands 1/2 takes a while and with friends you can waste hours on it effortlessly.
Civilization 5. If you are a bit into stragedy.
binding of isaac doesnt start until the 10th playthrough
Kerbal Space Program.
Animal Crossing

Sweet jesus this, you can start working on something, get to a point where you're happy with it and realise 4 hours has just vanished
Any MMO that looks good to you will probably last a very, very long time. If you like Star Trek, you could try STO. It has a few flaws, but I managed to burn away 300+ hours.
Well, Viagra makes your game last longer.

Every single time I've used that in one of my games the controls seem to slip over time. :v:
I've had a lot of fun in The Witcher 2. There are so many different choices and paths to take that you'd have to try to make two playthroughs exactly the same. I didn't find out about one pretty major thing until the third or fourth time I played the game.
Dungeons of Dredmor?
Also, not exactly PC, but Disgaea. Simply because you have to grind more.
A lot of JRPGs can be 30+ hours long.
Too bad the number of JRPGs on PC is nonexistent.
Dark Souls for sure.
First of all it already takes a long time to beat because you are slowly getting better at the game and dieing less, also just all the areas you can explore and all the little subtle things you can find about the game like way later on really extend the hours.
Secondly if you really like the game like a lot of people do, you can do a newgame+ and perhaps take your character in a different direction etc.
Thirdly if you like PvP then there is a lot of time to be spent just building your character as good as possible and then fighting it out with dudes. The combat system is good enough to justify addictive PvP combat, there is a bunch of technical stuff like invincibility frames, parry timing, hitboxes and stuff. I won't say it's like street fighter or some shit, but it's technical enough to not be a complete mash fest.
Really all it takes is for you to power through the first bits of the game which can be rough for new players because it's hard to get a grip of the combat, how to play properly, and learning the enemy patterns and stuff.
Also 360 pad is preferred, and you also need the patch that fixes all the shitty parts of the port. However I used the mousefix patch and keyboard+mouse controls once you get used to them are just as good as controller controls.
Also, before anyone says it...
Katawa Shoujo. All routes.

nothing says 'fun' like ramming a girl with no legs in her gloryhole!
PlanetSide 2 if you're ok with MMOFPSes.
The Sims, it never ends
Action-wise, i can't think of that many.
But sim-tycoon-business-wise, i'd say you could give OpenTTD a go. I've wasted so many hours in that game, and i go dive right back into that shit and stay there for hours.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Runs well, even if you've got a bad PC, takes forever to finish just the main quest, and that's if you don't get distracted by the multitude of sidequests. Plus, each time you play it, you can play it completely differently, and are almost guaranteed to stumble upon something you haven't found before.
Any Elder Scrolls game, especially Morrowind
Killing Floor
Borderlands 2 (with the DLCs)
Anno 1404/Venice or 2070, which has better online features
Endless Space. It's handily on sale this weekend as well (http://store.steampowered.com/app/208140/).
